I began experimenting with the piano at a very early age. My mother said I was reaching up to touch the keys shortly after I could walk. Piano lessons began in second grade but stopped when I left Virginia to attend college in California. Along the way I was usually looking for a gig, and had the privilege of playing in many bands with very talented musicians.
My adventure in California influenced me toward the music of the movies and at times, I would liken life to a movie with a soundtrack. On the campus undergraduate, I worked at the TV station, writing jinges, and wrote a full orchestra piece that was even choregraphed. But my fate post graduation was not to be in music. Instead I went into Defense Contracting! Now, you may think that's crazy, but actually this bizarre world is not short of dramatic inspiration and a strange yet unusual cast of characters.
